There have been times in the past where a big deal is made of a mediocre metal band because they come from an area of the world where Metal does not exist.
Acrassicauda is NOT one of those bands. They are a great band that just happens to be from Iraq. It was an absolute pleasure to see one of only two shows they did in the United States recently. I am sure my thoughts are shared by those who packed the Roxy on June 10th 2010.
Acrassicauda is the band featured in the documentary, "Heavy Metal in Baghdad" . They also have an outstanding EP titled "Only The Dead See The End Of The War" .
