W.A.S.P. @ The Key Club On June 4th 2006

W.A.S.P. put on one wicked performance. They hit the stage with force and let the crowd have it hard. The crowd roars letting them know L.A. is still the best place to be. The optimal element of their performance was the fact that they played 99% old school shit giving what most of us grew up with. Such songs included “I Wanna Be Somebody", "L.O.V.E. Machine", “On Your Knees" and "Wild Child". Blackie played his part to all on “I Wanna Be Somebody” as he coerced the audience to partake in a sing-a-long for the chorus. It was just a non-stop madhouse from start to finish.
The show seems to come to an end as Blackie ends it with a big “Thank you and good night Hollywood”. YEA RIGHT! As if anybody is going to fall for that crap. After a few minutes of chanting “WASP, WASP, WASP” they came back out to do a finale of "Blind In Texas". What a bunch of lunatics, the crowd lost it and ate it up for all that it was worth. Now that’s what I call a satisfied crowd of craziness. Just makes me think of the cliché’ “Music tames the wild beast”. In reality, I think they are all really thinking “Fuck like a beast”. After W.A.S.P. exited the stage, an announcement came for the fortunate ones who were invited to Mike Duda’s B-day bash after party.
I must say it was entertaining. A big “Fuck Yea”; have a fucking great time on the world tour. C-ya on your way back.
